@OP Shadow a full shift at a mill before you commit — watch how folks handle heat, noise, and pace, then ask which skills moved them up… Have you knocked out OSHA 10 yet (https://www.osha.gov/training/outreach)? If you love troubleshooting but hate swing shifts, look at QA or maintenance planning instead.
